Meditation, Sydney. I might start with the latest exciting news and results and work backwards with the stories. With this event, I started the group focused meditations on Saturday the 7th August 2010. The images from left to right are captured 1. 9th August 2. 10th August. 3. 11th August 2010.

The results have been truely amazing. A few weeks ago, a friend of mine Jennifer let me know that Bendigo in Victoria, Australia has not received rain for ages. The country was very dry. The farmers, forests and wildlife was suffering.

In the second part of our weekly meditations, I guided the group focus on bring rain clouds and rain to the Bendigo Victoria area. In the first week, I noticed on bom.gov.au satellite images of large rain clouds forming over Victoria. Still was not sure whether they were receiving rain?

I kept the group focus on Bendigo, then found out through the news reports a couple of weeks ago that Bendigo and that part of Victoria was flooding. Naturally, I then moved the group focus away from Bendigo and back the Murrumbidgee area in NSW. Still needs loads more rain there.

Murrumbidgee will be a following post. Shows you how powerful the Global Collective Consciousness can be. There is another part of the world we are focusing on…will let you know about it soon.

Just for a bit more proof, I’ve added in a couple of the satellite images. Stay tuned as we get more amazing stories together for you to follow through on. Stay positive and clear with your thoughts :0)

Samatha is a mother of three and works full time as a sales assistance. She has been attending our Meditation Classes in Sydney, regularly since February 2010 and it has been remarkable watching her transform to become a beautiful, balanced and positive woman shining with balance, youthfulness and health.

When Samantha first came, she was down, unsettled and unhappy. Soon I came to learn that things in her home life were unsettled, as her partner was never really there for her or her children. By the third and fourth meditation, Samantha found that she started to let go of the stress and tension she was carrying within her. Soon, she became a lot more confident, clear with her thoughts and found the strength to make clearer decisions with what she wanted in her life.

By the eight and ninth meditation session, she started glowing and looked ten years younger. All the muscles in her face relaxed and her eyes were brighter than ever before. On Saturday (April 2010) she stayed back after the meditation to thank me for how amazingly she felt. Letting me know she is going through a divorce and is amazed at how well she is handling it. Her and her husband are having amicable discussions agreeing on what to do next. It is great they are handling it in such a way so there is not such a great upheaval in the lives of their children.

When she went to visit her parents last Saturday after our Meditation Classes in Sydney, her mother said she was glowing. Her mother asked her where she came from and she said meditation. Her mother said she will handle everything well in this space of change and to keep up with the meditation as it is doing her a world of good.

It has been exciting times here at Channeling Meditation. For all the readers following my blog, I do apologise for not being active, with new articles, as I have been in and out of recording studios since Christmas of 2009, listening to hundreds of hours of meditations recorded over the past two years… to then choose the best for the program we are now creating.

There has been so much interest expressed by many, following our work and requesting CDs that are unable to join our groups as their enquiries are coming from other parts of Australia and the world. So, finally, I will be able to share our meditations with all those interested. Stayed tuned on this blog and also our website. In this time, I have also rebuilt and expanded the www.channelingmeditation.com website. With lots of new interesting, unusual and exciting products. Soon to be uploaded. Over the past three months, I could not access my blog. Strangely enough a bit of code was missing on this new template that did not allow me to log in. Finally we located it and scripted in the correct code to reactivate the login.

There is so much to write about, that has happened over the past few months within our meditation classes and groups. So stayed tuned with some amazing write ups we will soon share. Within our meditation classes and groups here in Sydney, we have a three part series in each meditation. The second part of our meditation, I call ‘The Collective Consciousness Meditation’. Where we focus on healing different parts of the planet. For nearly a year now, twice a week, every week we have been focusing on freezing over the North Pole. This story will soon follow. Also, since early December of 2009, we have been focusing on bringing rain over the Australian continent as a whole. More to share on this story also.

So thanks to all those reading my blog and look forward to sharing heaps of great progress, news, and personal accounts on the many fantastic benefits of our meditation, continuing to help all those joining our meditation classes in Sydney. Hear from you all soon and look forward to receiving your comments.

The Health Benefits of Meditation

It has been exciting to share the recent posts to all the readers following me in the world. Also, would always love to hear your comments and feedback. Please leave comments and anything else you would like to know about the benefits of meditation that may not have been covered.
The article in the most recent posts made a lot of sense to me. Through science, they are letting me know how the human body is affected by the high vibrational energy that I am channeling into all those that come to my groups.
For me, I see the people instantly start to change around me. Some, can feel the energy during their first meditations with me. Others, cannot feel the energy, but certainly notice the positive changes around them when they go to work the next day. Plus others, about 95% who attend, have the best sleep that same night. I welcome all beginners to my groups. It is an easy meditation to start with, as my meditations are guided for you to follow.
Also, as most of us have western bodies, I encourage those who attend to either sit in chairs or lay on the beds. Nothing worse that getting pins and needles in your legs while meditating.
Also, I give thanks to all those who have joined us throughout the year. There have been some famous people join us also. I have only realised this, when others have mentioned it to me.
For me, everyone is equal. Famous or not, means nothing to me. Everyone is an individual. In this day and age, way too many of us are suffering from stress. My observations show me that stress is the main ingredient that then grows into all sorts of weird and odd illnesses. Everyone seems to suffer differently.
Most of all, when people are stressed, I find they lose their humaness. They seem to go numb on the inside and as the article excerpts I have shared, suggests through scientific research, stress releases bad chemicals through the body that ages you quickly.
Also, I will be posting up live recordings of my meditations soon. Promise. For those that have listened to them, were amazed at the energy they could feel coming through the recordings.
On another note, please place all paper in for recycling. Don’t print what is not necessary. You will be surprised how many trees are cut down to make paper. If we are all conscious of what we do and don’t use coffee paper cups. There will be a lot more trees and forest left on the earth. Have a great Christmas everyone. Hopefully will get a couple more posts up before then.

We found a range of disease-fighting genes were active in the relaxation (meditation) practitioners that were not active in the control group, Dr Herbert Benson, associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, who led the research, says.

The good news for the control group with the less-healthy genes is that the research didn’t stop there. The experiment, which showed just how responsive genes are to behaviour, mood and environment, revealed that genes can switch on, just as easily as they switch off.
Harvard researches asked the control group to start practising relaxation methods everyday, says Jake Toby, hypnotherapist at London’s BodyMind Medicine Centre, who teaches clients how to induce the relaxation effect through meditation.
After two months, their bodies began to change: the genes that help fight inflammation, kill diseased cells and protect the body from cancer all began to switch on.

It’s a piece of advice yogis have given for thousands of years: take a deep breath and relax. Watch the tension melt from your muscles and all your niggling worries vanish. Somehow we all know that relaxation is good for us. Now the hard science has caught up: a comprehensive scientific study showing that deep relaxation changes our bodies on a genetic level has just been published.

What researchers at Harvard Medical School discovered is that, in long-term practitioners of relaxation methods such as yoga and meditation, far more “disease-fighting genes” were active, compared to those who practised no form of relaxation. In particular, they found genes that protect from disorders such as pain, infertility, high blood pressure and even rheumatoid arthritis were switched on. The changes, say the researchers, were induced by what they call “the relaxation effect”, a phenomenon that could be just as powerful as any medical drug but without the side effects.

More on this topic will be written soon.

INFLAMMATION

Stress leads to inflammation, a state linked to heart disease, arthritis, asthma and skin conditions such as psoriasis, say researchers at Emory University in the US. Relaxation (meditation) can help prevent and treat such symptoms by switching off the stress response. In this way, one study at McGill University in Canada found that meditation clinically improved the symptoms of psoriasis

BLOOD PRESSURE

A study at Harvard Medical School found that meditation lowered blood pressure by making the body less responsive to stress hormones, in a similar way to blood pressure-lowering medication. Meanwhile a British Medical Journal report found that patients trained how to relax had significantly lower blood pressure.

Meditation has long been lauded. Now science has shown that deep relaxation changes our bodies on a genetic level - for the better. Visit our website channelingmeditation.com. We are based in the Inner West in Sydney.

Irritable bowel syndrome
When patients suffering from irritable bowel syndrome began practising a relaxation meditation twice daily, their symptoms of bloating, diarrhoea and constipation improved significantly. The meditation was so effective the researchers at the State University of New York recommended it as an effective treatment.

Immunity - Relaxation and meditation appears to boost immunity in recovering cancer patients. A study at the Ohio State University found that progressive muscular relaxation, when practised daily, reduced the risk of breast cancer recurrence. In another study at Ohio State, a month of relaxation exercises boosted natural killer cells in the elderly, giving them a greater resistance to tumours and to viruses.

Fertility - A study at the University of Western Australia found that women are more likely to conceive during periods when they are relaxed rather than stressed. A study at Trakya University, in Turkey, also found that stress reduces sperm count and motility, suggesting relaxation through meditation may also boost male fertility.
